Modular Crate System

  • December, 2025

Found plastic vegetable crates.

A project born out of a material study, one which focuses on modularity, flexibility and reappropriation of found plastic crates and plywood (supplied).
It references the archytepal victorian hinge and the combination of two types of materials in order to explore the  opportunity to stack, expand and abstract.
Plastic detachable zip ties were used to fasten these elements of utility together into a system of adjustable seating.
